La Cantina di Pitigliano is a cooperative founded in 1954 by 11 members. Today the members are 350 and thanks to their work, the favorable climate and the characteristics of the land, we get excellent quality wine and oil, expression of our territory ....... but this is only the beginning of our history. .. that you will discover only by coming to visit us!
In tasting you will find a careful selection of typical products (cold cuts, cheeses, jams, honey, biscuits) that perfectly match our wines.
It will be a unique experience to tell!
First stop is a visit to the cellar dug out of the tuff, in the historic center of Pitigliano. Second stop is a visit to the winery's production department, where you will get to know all the various stages of winemaking, the ancient method of the rabbis in the production of kosher wines, then continuing in the bottling and storage department and finally in the showroom, where you can taste our products.
The Complete Tasting includes:
4 types of wines,
bruschetta with bread and oil of our production,
selection of local cured meats and cheeses with honey and local jams,
olives, dried tomatoes and artichokes in oil,
local sweets (evictions, biscuits, tozzetti) with grappa or vinsanto tasting
The visit and the tasting will be guided by our expert staff or by our oenologist who will illustrate the organoleptic characteristics of the wines.
