Unlike most cookery classes, our classes are very hands-on. You will learn real skills that you can use straight away, or when you get home. You'll learn recipes that will become part of your every-day cooking.
Most classes have 3-4 hours of intense hands-on cooking in our commercial kitchen. Expect to get your hands dirty – this is a class, not a demonstration. In this time you will help prepare a couple of antipasti, make and bake some fresh bread, make fresh pasta or a risotto or soup course, a meat or fish dish with accompaniments, and a dolce. Once all the prep is done you can sit down with a glass of specially selected local wine and I will finish off the cooking and serve you your hard-earned lunch/dinner. If you want to sit in while I finish off your meal, you can of course do so. The meal itself (& the class, of course) comes with plenty of local wine included. The menu itself will be based on what is good and available at that time but if there is anything specific that you want to try (like making fresh pasta, gnocchi, or tiramisu) then just let me know when you book, along with any special dietary requirements.
