The church today presents itself in its original gothic forms, restored after the restoration following a bombardment during the Second World War, despite its baroque transformation of the 18th century. The cloister of the monastery is perhaps the most beautiful building of the complex with its colorful majolica and its seventeenth-century frescoes depicting saints, allegories and scenes from the Old Testament.
