Villa Valmarana ai Nani, just outside the town of Vicenza, is an extraordinary monumental complex that includes the ‘Palazzina’ (Owner’s Residence), the Foresteria (Guest-House) – both frescoed by Giambattista and Giandomenico Tiepolo - and the Scuderia (Stables), within a historical park. It's surrounded by walls decorated with Statues of Dwarfs. It's the only place in the world where you can admire together the art of the father, Giambattista and the son’s, Giandomenico Tiepolo. The Villa is still owned and inhabited by the Valmarana family, who commissioned the frescoes in 1757. 

With the entrance ticket you will enjoy a visit of Villa Valmarana ai Nani, with its internationally known frescoes of Tiepolo.

The visit will last about one hour and includes the visit to the Palazzina (owner's residence), with its 5 frescoed rooms, the Foresteria (Guests' house), with its 7 frescoed rooms, and the historical park and Garden with the beautiful flowers hosted.

Included in the price you will also have the rent of a modern tablet guide (7"), with more then 45 minutes of multimedia content related to the Villa and its history. You can listen to the explanation of the frescoes painted in each room as far as a few in-depth analysis about the Villa development, Tiepolo's s painter in the world, the story of Valmarana family, Andrea Palladio, and many more contents.

The villa is known also thanks to Goethe, who in 1786 during his tour of Italy, visited the Vila and wrote about it in his Tagebuch.

This villa has an incrdible history and you will be surprised by how many sculptures, paintings, frescoes and curiosities this place hides. You could also see the beautiful garden with the famous Marinali artist statues. After an hour visit we will have a guided wine tasting with a couple wines from the villa's winery. 
12:30 Through a panoramic road we move in the summit part of the hills to have lunch ina typical "trattoria" where we will taste some local products like the black truffles handmande gnocchi (you can't miss them!)
14:00 We slowly move trough the hills to reach our next stop: Magia di Barbarano winery.
This is a farm managed by a young guy which has made a clear choice: to produce natural wines without using any kind of chemicals both in the field as in the cellar and to give his best to let visitors have a good experience in his farm. The farm is surrounded by woods and we will have a super relaxing outdoor wine tasting.  The farm also produces a great natural olive oil and you will be amazed by the  passion of the young owner.
16:00 Driving through the hills we will arrive to the Piovene winery. It is located in a 16th century villa with original old cellars. Their wines are award winners and exported worldwide so they really deserve a visit
Our  guide will explain us the history of the villa showing us the old cellar and explaining how they produce their wines, which have now the organic farming label.
After this visit our tour will end and we will drive back to your accomodation or to any arranged point


NB The program is completely customizable, if you prefer you can have also  a short walk in the woods, a visit to some more naturalistic points like the mills valley or the san bernardino cave, or even ask for one more villa.
