Experience the perfect overview of Verona by Segway on a tour that’s far easier than walking and more unique and private than a coach tour. This amazing sightseeing experience is the best way to admire all the beautiful sights of Verona, including Castelvecchio, the Basilica of St Anastasia and Porta Palio.

Numbers are limited to eight people on this small-group tour, ensuring you'll receive personalized attention from your friendly guide.

Never been on a Segway before? No problem! Prior to embarking on your Verona Segway tour, your expert guide will lead you through a 30-minute orientation session, designed to get you accustomed with riding a Segway.

From your meeting point, Porta Palio, glide over the Castelvecchio Bridge to reach the stunning Old Castle, Castelvecchio, a residence of the Della Scala family. The castle’s internal restoration is a marvelous example of contemporary architecture. Stop for a great photo opportunity and learn about the Castelvecchio Civic Museum, an interesting museum inside the castle featuring a remarkable collection of European art.

Pass by the Roman arena, where concerts and operas are performed in the summer. Explore the narrow streets lined with impressive medieval and Renaissance buildings in Verona's historic center, the most beautiful and ancient part of the city, facing south and cradled by a bend of the river. From here, make your way to the magnificent Arena di Verona, the third-largest Roman amphitheater in Italy modeled after the Colosseum in Rome and the amphitheater in Capua.

Your knowledgeable guide will lead you to the Piazza Erbe, which has served for centuries as a meeting place and the home to a market and the city's administration. Next, discover the Porta Bombardiera, built in 1687, which stands in the courtyard of Piazza dei Signori. Cruise to the beautiful Basilica of St Anastasia, perhaps the most important Gothic-style religious monument in Verona, before returning to Porta Palio, where your Segway tour will end.

Let an expert host guide you through the unique experience offered by the Bertani family. A private tour to the majestic estate will allow you to discover the birthplace of the Amarone Classico Della Valpolicella wine, along with the rich artistic and cultural heritage of Villa Mosconi Bertani and its enchanted gardens. Meet the wine-makers, whose expertise boasts centuries of history, in Villa Mosconi Bertani, an 18th century architectural and natural jewel without equal.

Conveniently located fifteen minutes away from Verona and twenty-five minutes away from Lake Garda, the estate is cloistered in a lush valley of fields and shaded woods, an island of green seemingly frozen in time and surrounded by verdant woods and sprawling vineyards. The program includes a fun, fully guided tour to the estate, the Romantic gardens, Amarone Classico and Valpolicella vineyards and the historical cellars, birthplace of Amarone.

Writings dating back to the 18th century, when the Villa hosted a literary salon, attest its unspoiled allure and splendor. The noble facade of neoclassical design, adorned with decorative statues of figures from Greek myths, stands framed against a backdrop of contrasting greens.

Inside, the magnificent Chamber of the Muses with its astonishing frescoes offer a remarkable example of the Italian artistic mastery. Another eleven rooms and halls, beautifully preserved, will allow you to experience first-hand the charm of an 18th century Italian architectural jewel.

The English-style landscape gardens, listed among the Great Italian Gardens for their historical and aesthetic value, weave a fairy-tale atmosphere and combine a rolling landscape, exotic plants , meandering paths and a pond, fed by natural springs.

A northern European style Kaffeehaus stand at the edge of the pond, facing a romantic island accessible through a wisteria-covered wooden bridge.

The experience then culminates with a visit to the cellars, which played a significant role in the history of Veronese winemaking. This famous winery is an example of wine-making expertise and enological innovation. Advanced cultivation and vinification techniques led to the introduction of the term “Amarone”, coined in 1936 within this very cellars in reference to a wine that had been produced since the early 1900s under the name “Recioto Secco”.

Today, in this same storied location, Gaetano Bertani and his sons continue the family’s three-century-old wine-making tradition.
