Experience the best of Chianti at the Antinori Winery with a tour of the facility and a tasting of 3 of their wines.

The Antinori Winery, inaugurated on 25 October 2012, represents the Antinori family’s love and passion for the Chianti Classico hillsides and reflects the centuries-old bond with their ancestral territory. The family has been dedicated to winemaking for over 600 years, when Giovanni di Piero Antinori became a member of the Florentine Winemakers Guild in 1385.

Today the winery has opened its doors to wine enthusiasts for a 90-minute tour, making it possible to come into direct contact with expert winemakers. It has become a place to follow a wine’s progression, from the pressing to the fermentation and aging.

After you watch Torrini’s short movie dedicated to the family, The Antinori: Vintners Since 1385, you’ll enter the cellars, a place where tradition and innovation meet.

You’ll be taken on a trip through the history of the family, as well as the successive stages of the fermentation and aging of a wine. Taste several of the Antinori wines, including: a white wine, the Bramito Umbria IGT (Typical Geographical Indication) or Vivia Maremma Toscana DOC, and 2 red wines, the Peppoli Chianti Classico and the Villa Antinori Chianti Classico Riserva.
