Opened on November 10, 2004, this special museum situated inside the Monastery of Saint Eufemia (a beautiful building complex of immense archaeological, historical, and architectural value) is dedicated to exploring and illuminating the Mille Miglia (“Thousand Miles”), Brescia’s legendary car race.

During your museum visit, you'll see private collector cars up close. These cars are periodically replaced in case of participation in event, with the largest turnover usually taking place on the occasion of the Mille Miglia Storica (middle of May).

Your self-guided, experiential museum visit (clearly marked by a red walkway meandering across all the sections of the museum) will take you along the entire physical and historical route of the Mille Miglia across Italy, passing through regions, cities, and crowds of people. Located on the southern shore of Lake Como, the luxurious city of Como is among Italy’s most scenic destinations. Get a feel for Como’s charms on this private, 2-hour walking tour. From its pretty piazzas and its lakefront to its medieval houses and its white-marble Duomo, you’ll want to bring along a camera to capture this photogenic city.

Set out at 10am and meet your guide at the Piazza Volta. From there, you’ll embark on a private, 2-hour walking tour of Como. One of the cities lining northern Italy’s gorgeous Lake Como, Como is renowned for its beauty and charm.

On this walking tour, you’ll be shown the city’s must-see sights, all while your guide schools you in the region’s history. Visit the Piazza Cavour — the town’s main square — and the lovely Piazza Volta (named in honor of the Como-born Alessandro Volta, the inventor of the battery).

Next, venture to Cortesella, the city’s medieval old town. From there, it’s on to the Duomo, Como’s best-known landmark. Constructed from white marble, the beautiful cathedral is often described as the last Gothic cathedral constructed in Italy. Built over the course of several centuries, it in fact showcases an intriguing blend of architectural influences.

The tour continues through Como’s Piazza San Fedele and past the city’s medieval fortification walls, beyond which lies the modern Como. As you wander through the city, admire the glimpses of the sparkling lake that makes this region famous. The tour concludes back at the centrally located Duomo.
