Spend an entire day discovering the best places of Lake Garda on this 8-hour boat tour. See all the sights from the water as you travel with your guide as you enjoy a complementary glass of Prosecco wine. This is a shared excursion - the maximum group size typically ranges between 20 - 23 people.
Departing at the harbor of the Scaliger Castle of Sirmione at 10am, see both the Western and the Eastern shore of the lake: breath taking views and walks through characteristic and historic villages.
First pass in front of the house of the famous opera singer Maria Callas, followed by the thermal spa Aquaria. Then head to the very end of the peninsula to the white rocky beach called Jamaica below the ruins of the Roman Villa Caves of Catullo. Passed the beautiful panorama of Lazise, before stopping for a one-hour visit in Bardolino.
After the break, travel to the gulf of Garda, dominated by its famous rock, where you can see the Villa Canossa within a beautiful lush park. The tour continues towards the cozy and hidden Punta San Vigilio, followed by the Bay of the Sirens with its white beaches. For lunch, the tour will make a stopover in Torri del Benaco.
During the onward journey, pass to the Western coast with Gargnano, Bogliaco and Fasano until Gardone. During the tour you can admire elegant historical buildings of famous personalities of the past, such as Villa Feltrinelli, where Benito Mussolini once lived; Villa Fiordaliso, residence of his lover Claretta Petacci, and not to forget the tower San Marco which once belonged to Gabriele d’Annunzio.
Opt into a bath in the clear waters of the lake, surrounded by this impressive atmosphere before heading on to Salò. This will be the last stop for one hour to visit the old center of this enchanting village. The tour makes way back to Sirmione, where you will see the coast of the private Island del Garda with the magnificent Villa Borghese in Venetian neo-Gothic style, in possession of the Cavazza family, with its marvellous gardens and huge natural park.
In this setting, enjoy a glass of sparkling wine remembering this beautiful day on Lake Garda. During the onward journey we will then pass the small island San Biagio, also known as rabbit island. In Sirmione you will see the sulphur springs Boiola, source of the beneficial thermal water of Sirmione. Before the end of the trip, pass under the drawbridge of the Scaligero Castle, the only pedestrian access to the peninsula and where the tour will end in the harbor.
