Learn to cook Capri-style with this 4-hour, small-group cooking class, limited to a group of just eight people. After hearing about the island’s culinary heritage, you’ll create a 3-course meal using fresh and local ingredients. Make pasta from scratch, learn the secret to a great Insalata Caprese, and create a traditional Capri cake for dessert. The best part? You eat the meal when the class ends.

Select your start time when you book, and then make your way to the cooking class in Capri. After meeting your local chef, you’ll listen to a short intro about the island and its culinary heritage.

Like most regions in Italy, the island’s cuisine has been influenced by its past and its people. Greek, Roman, French, and Spanish rulers all featured in Capri’s history; today, Hollywood darlings visit it on holidays, bringing cosmopolitan glamor to the island. These influences, teamed with the abundance of fresh seafood, have made their mark on the food you find in Capri.

Roll up your sleeves to create a typical Capri meal. Using generations-old recipes and the help of your chef, you’ll create Insalata Caprese, a simple, yet delicious, signature dish of tomato, buffalo mozzarella, and basil. Follow up the salad with fresh pasta, made from scratch. Mix, roll, and fold the dough to make a local ravioli dish. Finally, make Torta Caprese (an almond and chocolate cake), which is named after the island.

Finish on a high note as you sit down with the rest of your group to eat. Chat about the food and your creations as you sip on wine and relax. Before you leave, take a copy of the recipes so you can cook the dishes back at home.

Please note: A minimum of two people per booking is required.

Enjoy a day filled with breathtaking views and relaxation by cruising from the Island of Capri along Italy's Amalfi Coast. This jagged coastline is unlike any other, and the best way to view it is from the sea. Stop to swim in various inlets and lagoons, and enjoy the company of a local captain who will show you the can't miss sights of the area.

Experience an unforgettable adventure through the Neapolitan Riviera, with stops to swim through gorgeous bays and lagoons. While Capri is typically crowded on the island itself, its true beauties are the many grottos that can be seen by boat around the island. Cruise along to the Blue Grotto, a small opening in the rock just large enough for a row-boat to enter. This grotto is famous for its electric blue waters glimmering off the water and cave walls. Depending on the sea conditions, the grotto may be closed, and there is also a charge of 13 euros to enter.

Other notable grottos that are worth a look are the Green and White Grottos. The Green Grotto is a sea-cave with a natural arch that opens into a bay. The White Grotto is a cave etched up further on a cliff with a naturally made rock formation of the Virgin Mary. Another highlight of Capri are the Faraglioni Rock Formations, which are a landmark of the island. These three massive rocks are each about 100 meters high and can even be seen from far away on the Amalfi Coast. Cross the Bay of Naples and into the Gulf of Salerno where you will cruise past Nerano, a small fishing village which features several beachside restaurants that are highly encouraged to stop at for lunch.

One of the more notable sights that this excursion features are Li Galli Islands, famed as Homer’s location of the Sirens that tempted Ulysses in 'The Odyssey.' Feel free to stop for a swim here if you wish. The islands are located just off the coast of Positano, a village sprawled vertically up a vast landscape. The view of Positano from the sea is perhaps one of the most famous photos in all of Italy. John Steinbeck described the village best: "Positano bites deep. It is a dream place that isn't quite real when you are there and becomes longingly real after you have gone". Stop in this colorful village if you would like for some shopping and exploring while the captain waits before taking you back to Capri. Please note that if you would like to end the excursion in Positano rather than returning to Capri, that is also an option.

Discover the highlights of Capri and Positano on a private boat excursion. Sit back and enjoy the beauty of the Neapolitan Riviera with your private captain at the wheel in a day customized just for you. This tour is perfect for the adventurous because it is full of exploration, relaxation and fun.

A local captain will pick you up with a private boat from Marina Grande in Capri and cruise towards Positano, one of southern Italy’s most marveled villages on a roughly 6 hour day.

While Capri is typically crowded on the island itself, there is so much to be discovered from the sea. Cruise to the famous Blue Grotto, a small cave in the rocks just large enough for a rowboat to enter. This cave is famous for its electric blue waters caused by the sun's reflection under the rocks.

Other notable caves are the Green and White Grottos. The Green Grotto is a sea-cave with turquoise waters and natural arch opening up into a glimmering bay. The White Grotto is a cave etched up further on a cliff, where the mixing of spring and seawater provides an ambiance that is hard to forget. Stop to swim off the boat in the turquoise waters before cruising over to the famous Faraglioni Rock Formations, a backdrop to countless well-known fashion and perfume ads. These three massive rocks are about 100 meters high and can be seen from far away along the Amalfi Coast.

As you cruise across the Bay of Naples don't forget to turn around to take a photo of Capri, as the full view of the entire island is captivating. Once you cross the Bay of Naples you will enter the Gulf of Salerno, framed by jagged mountains, tiny fishing villages and little islets. You will cruise past the characteristic and little-known fishing village of Nerano, which features several quaint beach-side restaurants that are highly encouraged to stop at for lunch and a swim.

One of the more notable sights that this excursion features is Li Galli Islands, famed as Homer’s location of the Sirens that tempted Ulysses in “The Odyssey.” The islands are located just off the coast of Positano, a colorful village sprawled vertically up the mountainside. Positano includes dozens of fine local shops, beachside restaurants and luxury hotels. Notable attractions in Positano include the Collegiata di Santa Maria Assunta, a historic church with a vast dome created in the 1920’s. Enjoy some time in the village before heading back to Capri.
